#CALL TO ACTION

The world after COVID-19

CEO's from top VC's and unicorns have already shared their vision and the common point is the same - the world will never be the same, there is no way back to past. The transition period has already started and every business has to prove a transcendent and sustainable business model on practice.

Everyone thought the globalization is frequent travel, English domination, face-to-face handshakes. By now the new era is in the online networking, digital signature handshakes, remote teams exposure, no events.

Join Startupers, share your vision and declare in scouting what your business needs today - to be better tomorrow morning.

Sustainable business model

Sustainability is one of the keywords that many businesses were using to improve their status and underline the maturity level.

A sustainable business model can't be tested in the "still water" market, now we have a perfect moment for the A/B and improvement - business growth in the current conditions is the real indicator of the maturity.

Big players of the market split into two big groups - some players like Tesla and BlaBlaCar (launched BlaBlaHelp) are shifting the usual way of thinking to impact the global effort for transformation and help, others - stay low and most probably will stay far behind for a long time.

I was expecting global retail and marketplace leaders to use the opportunity as a great boost for their business and take the offline world market share with a deadly grip. So far it is not happening.

Online networking

Networking always was the best way to reach out, grow contacts. Online tools were always complementary to offline activity.

Times have changed, last year it was difficult to use Zoom or Skype call as an ice-breaker and negotiation tool, now online interaction quickly becomes an outstanding networking possibility.

Founder Institute is one of the top pre-seed accelerators of the world built on engagement through offline events. Their founder and CEO Adeo Ressi is highlighting that no offline events are even discussed at least till the end of 2020. And most probably the infrastructure will never go back to the same reach and engagement tools as before. Chapter structure will be affected because the world without intensive travel becomes faster to reach a destination.

Startup Grind is successfully running events online, which makes them easier and cheaper to organize, yet easier to access.

This effect is smoothing out the borders, trust levels and traditional ways to make business. We were just on time to declare online networking the top priority of our platform and proved it with February 2020 release during Startup Grind Global in San Francisco, fully redesigning the user experience and making it social media-ready. Recent Release 1.2 has only improved our capabilities to deliver this experience.

Linkedin for startups

Startups don’t have a quick way to engage the community, investors and potential partners to get into their product or solution. The startup community is the most engaged, helpful and high-skilled to boost your business.

There must be one place where the audience can see the activity, check pitches, videos and slides, follow what the startup is scouting for - hiring, seeking partners, selling or raising funds.

Engaged community and lack of tools was the reason why we have created Startupers - the platform to become a Linkedin for startups

Open call for discussion

During our Release Party call last Saturday we've spontaneously got a lot of questions and suggestions concerning the transformation of the business, global market and startup stage.

We'd like to call for a discussion to continue this conversation, for everyone's convenience we offer you to choose a time that would be the most suitable
